Where is Cheyenne?
Cheyenne is the capital of Wyoming and is located in the southeast corner of the state. It's at the intersection of the 80 and 25 freeways. Cheyenne is at an elevation of 6,062 ft.
Cheyenne Frontier Days is held every July and is considered the largest outdoor rodeo in the world. It's a 10-day event and also features nightly concerts, a carnival, parades, and an air show.
Yellowstone National Park is partially located in Wyoming. It's the first U.S. national park, and is renowned for having the world's largest concentration of hydrothermal features, including the iconic Old Faithful. The park protects an immense 2.2 million-acre ecosystem.
