Truckee

Where is Truckee?
Truckee is located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California at an elevation of 5,817 ft. The Interstate 80 freeway runs through Truckee which is between Sacramento and Reno. Truckee is the gateway to Northern Lake Tahoe.
Donner Lake is in the city of Truckee and a few minutes drive from my home.
Lake Tahoe is 12.5 miles southeast of Truckee and one of my favorite places.
